Reporting to the Foreman, the Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a loader. The operator transports aggregates or other materials to stockpile aggregates for water and sewer installation projects.
How You’ll Add Value
- Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Operate the loader with various attachments such as. a front-mounted, hydraulically powered bucket or scoop
- Material handling and transportation to safely operate the loader on public and private roadways
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment, including routine cleaning and upkeep to ensure smooth loader operation
- Perform in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, and humidity
- Operate additional heavy equipment as required to support project needs
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience operating a loader in heavy civil construction
- Physically able to safely lift and carry 25 lbs regularly
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
- Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed

Our story began in 1992, when Harvey Bennett opened a deep utility construction business serving the local residential markets of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Over the years, he grew the company to service other industries, and expanded to include earthworks, oilfield construction, gravel supply, and trucking.
