Scraper Operator

Reporting to a Foreman, a Scraper Operator is responsible for operating a self-propelled scraper or tractor drawn to move, haul and grade earth on various types of construction sites. A Scraper Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of scraper equipment and must be familiar with aspects of road construction.

The Ideal Candidate for this position will possess the following:

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school or equivalent; with experience in related construction activities.
• Class 5 license; clean Driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience within a construction industry.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience operating a packer is required.
• Understanding of computerized controls and electronics.
